- Face seal: Available in thermoplastic rubber (BLS 5600) or silicone (BLS 5700 and BLS 5700/C).
- Bayonet connection (b-lock): This connection is highly intuitive, allowing a quick and safe hold on the mask. It has a locking feedback allowing the user to know if the filter has been properly placed.
- New face piece: The face piece has been redisigned to better fit the facial profile and is easily replaceable. It is made of soft TPE, which is non-deformable.
- Phonic membrane: An aluminium layer, inside the breathing unit of the device (BLS 5700, BLS 5700/C), enables the transmission of vocal sound.
- Anti-fog: Designed to avoid fogging on the visor through the control of the cold and hot air flows inside the mask, instead of treatments which can easily be spoiled with use.
- SCRATCH RESISTANT VISOR, OPTICAL CLASS 1 (EN 166): The screen allows a panoramic visual field without optical distortions. A vitrification treatment on its surface makes it scratch resistant.
- 6-points harness: Fixed on 6 connection points, BLS 5000 series harness guarantees a highly precise adjustment by distributing the pressure on the face uniformly.
- Available in three sizes: Silicon models (BLS 5700, BLS 5700/C) are available in three different sizes to perfectly fit all face profiles.
- Hood fabric is resistant to grease, dilute acids, bases, and abrasion, with color change indicating contact with strong acids.
